In the office, on the stage, I stand before a judging gaze. Performing tasks both great and small, I strive to please and give my all.

My skills and talents on display, I hope to make a strong display. To show my worth and prove my worth, To gain respect and prove my birth.

But in the act of performing well, I must be careful not to sell, Myself as someone I'm not, For honesty is what I've got.

I will not let my work define, The person that I am inside. For who I am is who I'll be, No matter what my work may be.

So as I walk the stage of life, Performing tasks and facing strife, I'll stay true to who I am, And be proud of the work I've done.
